After some time to mull over the data we obtained from our initial observations, we decided on a direction to follow by creating a focus statement that would guide the rest of our research.

This planning was only preliminary and we ended the class a little more lost than we came in. We would need to refine our focus a whole lot more before we could conduct any actual research.
